Saturday, absolutely exhausted, need to rest and recharge
Good morning journal, the time is now 9:37am,I have been awake since 7:50am when I was awakened with a blinding pain in my left shoulder and neck.It has taken me well over an hour just to be able to function, and it is still painful to move any part of my shoulder,I guess I was laying in an unnatural position or something, all I can tell you is that it brought tears to my eyes.At the moment,I am extremely tired due to the extra effort that I have needed to find in the last two or three days,on Thursday afternoon,we had to take our middle dog Bree to the vet because she had broken a tooth in a mid air clash with Caesar our American bullweiler while playing chase and fetch. Now Caesar weighs in at over one hundred pounds,Bree on the other hand tips the scales at thirty one pounds, there was only ever going to be one result,I'm deaf and even I heard the crack as they collided.Anyway, there was some of the tooth left embedded in the gum so off to the vet we went, they booked her in on Friday morning at 9:00am for an operation to remove what was left of the tooth. We duly arrived at the appointment time and left a very crestfallen Bree in the hands of a very loving veterinary nurse who said she would call us when the operation was over.At 4:00pm they called to tell us that they had not been able to operate on Bree as they had a couple of emergencies come in and would we like to come and get her and they would rebook her for the tooth extraction. My wife had to go and pick her up as I was exhausted and more than a bit wobbly because of the effects of my medications and the effort of two visits to the vets office in less than twenty four hours,I simply had no energy left. So,to cut a long story short,Bree is now booked in on October 16th at 9:00am and they will pull the tooth then, and last evening was spent trying to placate and make a fuss of a very disgruntled and distrustful six year old fur baby who seemed hell bent on making us feel terrible for abandoning her for so long a period of time, and I have to say she succeeded beyond her wildest dreams!. Just to make things worse, she is now in season again, and a lot of our time is spent preventing Caesar trying to do what a young healthy male does at times like this,so he is spending a lot of time in his cage moaning with unrequited love and passion, while the object of his ardor paces seductively back and forth just beyond his reach on the other side of the bars of his present place of confinement. The next visit to the vet really must be to have both Caesar and Bree fixed,it isn't fair to either of them, but,as always,it's down to money again, but it is definitely very high on our list of things to do in the near future. For the next couple of days however,it is very much a case of rest and recharge the batteries for me,when I become as exhausted as I am now, there is simply no other choice,I hate being as tired as I am a lot of the time, and it's very much a catch 22 situation, the more energy I am asked to find, together with the effects of my medications, means that I am going to be more tired than I am normally, which is pretty tired anyway.I'm hoping to hear something from mental health this week some time, but,we'll see what happens,I've learned to expect nothing so anything else is a bonus, yes I am a cynical old bear, but my past experiences since becoming ill have made me the way I am I suppose. The verdict of my application for disability living allowance,or P.I.P as it now known,(personal independent payment),and the arrival of my promised wheelchair, are very much things for the future,I have given up on anything happening on them for at least the next month or so,much as I need them both.Well journal,I think that's all for now,so until the next time, may God continue to grant us His love and protection, and may the next month pass as quickly as possible, peace and contentment be in our home and in our hearts this day.

I\'m happy you are here and typing. Yikes, that sounds like a very bad crash between your dogs. Is Bree in pain?
Scott, It is always good to see you, as I said earlier you have such a tremendous amount of courage. I am so sorry about the mid air crash between Bree and Caesar, and doubly sorry Bree has to go to the dentist. I truly hope that is the extent of the issues for this month. As always, be safe and take care, BIll
