Sat: MORE GOOD NEWS!!
I passed out my flayers (thank you, Deb!) all day yesterday at the VA and Tripler Hospital. Gosh... I'm so tired! I also stopped by the American Legion and spoke to Jim about my new group. I showed him the new stacks of flayers too and he was so excited about it! He told me that he will talk to people in the hospital about getting a psychologist to voluntere in participating with my group. He will also talk to people about getting a conference room for me right there in the hospital instead of at the Oahu Veterens Center. AND he said that the American Legion will be setting up a web site for me!! AND he told me that if I can't get a grant through the Mission Continues, he will see about helping me get a STATE GRANT for my group! WHHHOOOHOOO!! So far while I passing out the flayers, I already got one voluntere vet that wants to be part of the administration in my group. He was so excited! And my friend Jen does massage therapy, I told her about the group too, and she wants to help with admin tasks too, as well as being the massage therapist for the group!! YAY!! This is going so very well!! I should find out Monday or Wed if I can hold the meetings in the hospital or not. If I get the green light, I will cancel having it set up at the Oahu Veterans Center, cuz the hospital is like a train station with vets coming in and out. So basically it will be much more convenient for everyone. TODAY... I finished putting the desk and office space together. OUch.. I'm pretty freakin sore! Tired.. out of breath... wewhh! I need a serious massage! My muscles were sore when I woke up today and now they hurt even more... but I want this to get done and ready so I have desk space for coordinating stuff for my group. Monday I will have to (hopefully) stop by Walmart to get those hang file divider thingies so I can start filing stuff. THEN the rest of this week I will be working on my room and all that junk! Ugh, not looking forward to it, but I have to! God bless everyone and thank you so much for your encouragement!

The news keeps getting better and better - you go girl!!!!
I\'m really happy that things are happening for you. Hang in there and don\'t forget to take some time for yourself! Go to the beach! :o)
WOO HOOO! That is great news. I\'m glad your aspirations are coming to fruition. Sit back and relax a little to get those muscles better. Hugs, Trouble
I am so in awe of all that you have accomplished! Wow a state grant, a massage therapist, etc.! Did you design the flyers too?
Guess what? I just begged my husband if he would let me fly to Hawaii to see you and your mother, and he said YES. I couldn\'t believe it! You need to let me know if you were just kidding or if you were serious about staying with you. Being all alone, and not knowing anything about the area would be too scary for me, and Charlie hates sand. I\'d be on a tight budget, but I wouldn\'t mooch off of you or anything like that. Also I wouldn\'t past a visitor\'s limit. Let me know what you you think if I do end up coming. When I think about this, I feel like I must be out of my mind, yet I feel like I know you and I know your mom a little bit. Don\'t say yes unless youmean it. I\'d rather you were honest than not. Believe me, it wouldn\'t hurt my feelings at all. I\'m thinking of a time frame of about August. It get\'s really hot here then - in the 100\'s. Good ole Dallas, TX. Actually we live near Lake Texoma in a little town called Pottsboro.It\'s not my dream sight, but Charlie had property here, and a small cottage. We fixed up the cottage and rent it out. Then we bought a double-wide moble home and put it on the rest of the property. It came out really nice, and it\'s perfect for us.
Anyway, think it over, and let me know.
As for your newly forming group, have you given it a name yet? Is it strictly for fibro folks or do you include others?
Gotta take a shower. I\'ve been playing with my flowers, and I\'m kinda muddy, so I guess I\'ll jump in.
