Sam Smith Reveals Spectre Theme Song Title
Sam Smith has confirmed he will sing the theme song for the new Bond movie, Spectre.
The song is called Writing's On The Wall and will be unveiled on 25 September.
British star Smith dropped a massive hint on Monday when he tweeted a picture of a ring featuring the Spectre logo.
He confirmed the news in a series of tweets, describing it as "one of the highlights of my career".
"I am so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible line up of some of my biggest musical inspirations," Smith tweeted.
"I hope you all enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed making it."
The Stay With Me singer denied only days ago that he was involved with the latest film in the franchise, saying he was too busy.
Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding, Paloma Faith and Lana Del Rey were some of the others rumoured to have been in the running.
Smith becomes the first British male solo singer to record the Bond theme since 1965.
The tune has been co-written with Grammy-winner Jimmy Napes.
