Sage.... that's my color!!!
I had bought a gallon of Valspar paint at Lowe's and as soon as I got it home, I knew it was the wrong color. I wanted it the shade darker on the paint sample strip. Soooo... I took the gallon back and they mixed it up. They are able to take the exact gallon of paint and darken it. I've had it done before... and it was perfect.
I painted first the LR wall that was turquoise. I have NEVER liked that wall bc it was too dark and too contrasting. But this sage color will go perfect thru out the house and with the oatmeal color that is in the hall and in both BRs. I want to paint the kitchen that color too. I think I will paint 4 of the walls in the LR... there are 6 LR walls / and then the kitchen the sage. IT will go great with the white.
I am highly considering having a professional painter come in and paint the kitchen. I want a really good job done on it. I did the bath a few years back and i didn't do it right... i did not use the right kind of paint. It did not have enough enamal in it.. and it already looks bad. I just do not want that to happen in the kitchen. I want it done right. So I can at least get some quotes on it.
We will see. The walls and baseboards.. I can do that... but a high traffic area that gets scratched and bumped and greasy... it needs a really good job done on it... one that will last a long long time.
