Sadderday
Dearest,
I was up pretty late last night so, to compensate, I got up pretty early this morning. At the crack of dawn to be precise, why does the dawn need to make so much noise? Why is my hearing so much sharper when I’m here at night all alone? I can hear every little sound, every creak, every click, every snowflake landing on the roof (Yes – it still is). Are our vaunted medical professionals aware of this phenomenon? To improve a persons hearing they just need to sit home alone and watch horror movies. They’ll be able to hear the clouds collide. Speaking of medical professionals;
I was reading an article that said, “In order to find inner peace you have to finish what you start”, was somebody named Dr. Phil. So, I started looking around the house at all the things I started and never finished. I finished off that bag of chips, the rest of that valium, the entenmann’s cake, that little bit of Johnny Walker, the last of the chocolates, the remainder of the Tia Maria and that prescription the dentist gave me. You have no idea how freakin’ good I feel right now! That guy was right!
I’ve had that Johnny Mathis song going around in my head for a few days now. Makes me feel kind of sad but more lonely. A wistful longing that you were here.
You love a while and when love goes You try to hide the tears inside with a cheerful pose. But in the hush of night exactly like a bittersweet refrain Comes that certain smile to haunt your heart again
How am I supposed to . . . What am I supposed to . . .? There I go again leaving things unfinished. Wish you were here, wish we could share.
I just noticed a bottle of white wine in the fridge, better go finish that up.
Till the snow stops falling and the wind stops blowing, Your Ken

Yep sure does feel good to finish those things.... LOL Thank you for bringing me a smile today. Thank goodness for a sense of humor - it does help break up the monotony, doesn\'t it? It was snowing here earlier today too, now the wind is blowing.... maybe it will blow these blues away.
Hugs,
Marisa
Thank you for my daily dose of Ken. Now I\'m off to finish that vodka. and cake.
Linda
Ken, wish pills, and booze sounded good, only finishing off the valentines candy I bought myself. Sad. I have almost finished the bathroom downstairs, Take care of yourself, the spring is almost here, our maples are getting their buds, so is my apple tree. The azalias are starting also, as is my red poppy. Got to go finish that last piece of chocolate..........Jane
I like Linda\'s term \"daily dose of Ken.\" Much better than the Vodka! Thanks for giving me a laugh on this day of inner turmoil for me.
Angie
Ken, love your suspense and sense of humour. Definately needed that today, I think I will have some left over chocolate cheesecake. Lu Ann
I love your humor but you are so right about hearing things when you are alone. I hear every noise for what seems miles away. Diane
YOU REALLY ARE GOOD! Humor and laughter are great healers and so is your \"right on \"insightful honesty! Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the chuckles, Ken!!
Despite the pain... you are able to make us smile. Thank you!
Hugs, Linda
Thanks for the chuckle. I do so understand about hearing every little noise.
Ken, Ken, Ken, What can I say, that hasn\'t been said. You really should write a book. I\'m not sure what the topic should be, but you have the humor down pat. Please don\'t stop, giggles are good for the soul.

Thank goodness.......now I know it is okay to finish off the chocolate chip cookies. Holding off on the Zanax.......saving that for a bad day. Thanks for the chuckles.
