Sadderday

Dearest,
Well, I got Sox to the vet without much trouble. The vet says he has an irregular heartbeat (so who doesn't?). Wants me to bring him in again after the holidays to see if it is still there. I will. Went to see you, did you see me? Took pictures of your stone, am going to send them to Robin in a few minutes. Got some of the chores done, not all. There's just too much to do for one person. The weather is supposed to be nasty (er) tomorrow but I'll try and get the snow blower ready. I don't have anything to eat in the house, well, nothing that I feel like eating. I'm still trying to figure out what I want for dinner then I'm going to watch "The African Queen". Yeah, it finally came, I know you wanted to watch it. Man, it gets dark so early now, well before 5:00. By 5:00 it's already pitch black out there. This morning the cats were racing around and rough housing all over the house. I took out the cat carrier and . . . there were no cats. There were no cats in this house. I must have been dreaming the whole thing. Did we have cats? To tell the truth it made me laugh. They're so damn smart. I stopped at the PO today to pickup mail, etc. There was a lady there with a malamute, I didn't really pay any attention. Then I felt something on my hand. Of all the people in that lobby (3+me) that dog decided that I was the one that needed some kisses. She was small for a malamute 88lbs and her name was Abbie. I don't know where to go from there.
Well, I guess I should go clean stuff and stop fooling around on the internet. But first! I have to e-mail Robin. Oh, I fixed my slacks, the ones that the button kept falling off. I gave up and decided to do some "guy" sewing. I got a bigger needle, needle-nosed pliers and some fishing line. It worked! You can't see what I did when I'm wearing them and it works. You'd probably be hysterical laughing at what I did but it works and you're not here to do the sewing correctly. I think that's another thing requiring breasteses to accomplish. That damn napkin holder is always empty.
Missing you, your Ken
