Sad Sundays
I get sad on sundays... I think its because on sunday people hang out with family and have a nice dinner and go to church together. I don't have that right now and it kind of hurts. I miss my family alot... mainly my dad. I get along with him best and I really really miss him. I almost started crying on the phone yesterday when talking to him. I call him everyday!!! I am sure he is sick of me and my problems.
I went to church today, forced myself to go after going out and staying out all night! I didnt get home til 6am I didnt want to go out but I am sooooo glad I did! I had an awesome time and met some new people!!! It made me feel really good! But this morning when I woke up allI could do was worry worry worry and worry some more. Where is my unemployment check, when will it come? How am I going to support myself? Will I have to move, find roommates and live uncomfortably?
Ughh.. I really am freaking out over nothing... I have this interview tomorrow. I am prepared. resume... check! references... check! smile... check! confidence....ehh.... maybe that needs some work! I really need to sell myself to these people... I need to make it worth their while to hire me and pay me what I deserve!!! I am praying and praying and I know god will guide me to where I need to be... but... I still worry and worry!
Did well with food all day til dinner was done. I had way too much dessert. I have been using the skills I am learning in my book... some of the time... Its really hard to do some things like eat sitting down, time yourself eating and eat slow. My therapist thinks this books is really going to help me. I am also working on my own workbook too, I find that really hard also. Recovery is really hard! I am ready to do it, but I give in for stupid reasons!
tomorrow is a new day! so excited an nervous for my interview!

I totally understand what you mean about Sundays. I always think of the \"family Sunday dinner\" thing. I grew up in a totally dysfunctional family, but, was always very close to my mom. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer\'s in 2002 (three weeks after I was downsized from the best job - 18 years - I had ever had in my life), and passed away last year. Shortly after she passed away, I made the decision to estrange myself from most of my extended family.
I really get into the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, and it makes me sad to know that I don\'t have a family to make those plans with. Now, it\'s just my daughter and me. But, I just try to be thankful for everything I have, even though there\'s a hole where my family should be.
Praying that your interview goes well, hon! If you don\'t end up getting the job, know that God has something better for you.
Hugs!
