Sad, sad day
For the past week, there has been a massive search for a 17 year old girl, Chelsea King in my community. The hope that she would be found alive was fully believed by every volunteer search party. Sadly, they found her today. This has hit home for me. She was only a few years younger and in the same community. I find myself in fear tonight. I've always felt safe, but have always been cautious. Tonight, I think about what I need to do tomorrow and I find myself not wanting to. This is sad. This is a safe community. More so than others. My heart aches for her parents, family, and everyone that knew her. As well as this community. There's a large amount of heartbreak here and I can already see everyone coming together. This loss of an innocent girl is so sad and has forced me to put my life in perspective. My pain has become my second fear, and I never thought that would happen. RIP
