sad news
I received sad news today. A friend of mine has fought cancer twice the past few years. She was diagnosed with it 2 months ago. They started radiation and Chemo but she was to weak to stand the treatments. She almost died last Sat. morning but, they saved her. Yesterday, she got a CAT scan and it showed the cancer has spread from her lung, to her kidneys, her thyroid gland and, the base of her brain.they told her she was terminal . Maybe two months if she is fortunate. She has had 2 masectomies the past 4 years, now this. She has a daughter grown, a sister, who is a member of my church, and her husband who is in a nursing home.Man this is tough. I have spent a lot of time with her at the hospital and nursing home. We have prayed a lot together too. I hope she doesn't have to suffer long.I hope she goes in her sleep.

I am very sorry, suffering here is terrible, but as you know she will be met in heaven by her Lord and never know pain again. My thoughts and prayers with you, your friend and her family.

Working with those who are dying is tough I have worked with it alot as well and it hurts your heart
I will Pray she goes in peace without having to suffer much longer and for you and strength to endure the pain you alot suffer
We are never alone in the valley and we will know Paradise when we pass

I am sorry to hear about your friend. I to recieved some news last week about my friend. Cancer too. She is so young though. 45 years old, we have been friends for 33 years. They gave her 6 months to one year and told her it was spreading fast. So I can relate to how you feel. I to hope she doesn\'t have to endure this to long.
