Sad mornings make for what kinds of days?

Yesterday was a pretty good day. I started out really drowsy, but I got better by lunch.
Baby S was really grumpy all day, though. She wailed all morning while I was showering and didn't want anyone else but me. She was grumpy at grandma's house, even though she took a 2.5 hour nap. And in the evening, she was just kinda bratty. She spilled her puffs on the floor, and when we insisted she pick them up, she just ran around refusing to do it. T sat her on his lap for time out, where she screamed for quite a few seconds. We asked her to pick up her puffs again, and more screaming. So she went back in time out lying on the couch with T, screaming the whole time, screamed when we asked her to pick up, back in time out... multiple times. I was frustrated. I don't want my sweet baby to turn into a spoiled brat. Her face was SO RED. I've never seen her that angry. Finally, we got the puffs picked up. She never put more than one in the bowl. Most of the few that she picked up went into her mouth. Oh well, still a lot of training to do.
But then, after she went to sleep, I had a great night last night. A really great "nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more, say no more" kind of night. T and I enjoyed watching House together, and we went to bed happy.
Which is why I woke up in a good mood. Unfortunately, my assumption that T was also in a good mood, based on his smile and cheerful tone, were wrong. He woke up grumpy but didn't want to spew on me, so he didn't say anything. The first outfit he put on was wrinkled, so I suggested another. Maybe I should have let him go to work wrinkled. I don't know. I feel it reflects poorly on me if I let him to go to work looking disheveled, like I'm not doing my job as a wife properly. Then he went downstairs to empty the drip bucket. When he came back up, he started getting a drink without saying anything. I assumed he had taken care of the water, but I wasn't sure, so I asked. Later he "came back up to tell me, but I thought I had to tell him what to do."  He acted frustrated because he had not gotten the van unloaded, so when he went downstairs to move the car so the roofers can get in better, I finished getting Baby S ready and took her down with the intent of buckling her in and then unloading the van for him. But he was in the van with it running - no idea why. He made a frustrated "what are you doing NOW" gesture, so I kind of made one back, hesitated, then went down. He opened the door for Baby S but kept his window shut and was trying to talk to me through it. It was very rude. I asked him to open the window so I could talk to him, so he did. I explained what I was doing. I still have no idea why he had the van running. He said he couldn't unload the van in his work clothes, but I told him I COULD. So I carried the 50lb bags of cement into the garage while he went back upstairs to brush his teeth. I really didn't mind unloading the van, but I really did mind his nasty attitude. He told me when he came back down that he'd had a bad dream and had woken in a bad mood. Well, f@#$ing h@#$, if you're going to make that excuse, TELL me you're in a bad mood so I can prepare and deal with it. Don't hide it to "protect" me and then b@#$% at me.
So T left after giving me a hug which I didn't quite feel. He asked me to move the car. I did, but I did a poor job at it. I'm no good at backing up into spaces, and I think I might have gotten in stuck in the mud. I'm afraid to try to get it out again. I'll wait until the ground dries and hope and pray that I can get out. I showered, told C and SL to get up, and when C asked how I was, I told her I was a little sad so I wouldn't be guilty of the same deception T was.
He texted me once he was at work and apologized for being rude. I really do want him to have a good day. I really don't want his mood this morning to affect his sales and bring him home in a worse mood. I really want to be in a good mood, myself. I really don't want to work today. I hate days when I have nothing to do. I love days when I have a set purpose and multiple goals so I have something to work on and a reason to be at work. I hate sitting at my computer trying to come up with busy work. I know I'm an asset to my company, I know I do excellent work, I know I am highly efficient. But I get nervous when I've run out of work because I am too good at it. That sounds pompous, but it's true. If I were slower or made more mistakes, my tasks would last longer.
I need to figure out how to make today a better day. I don't want to have a bad attitude. Let's see how I can turn this day into a good day.
.................
No ideas right now. We'll see.
