Sad and Happy

It seems as if the rain will never stop.  In the last 2 days we have had so much rain for the Phoenix, AZ area.  The rain is necessary, but it is so depressing.  We have no transportation so we are basically prisoners in our apartment until the rain stops. We do have someone coming to take us shopping later today, but we will get rained on sure as shootin'.  This rain should give up no later than tomorrow, then it will turn really cold for Monday.  That is really cold for us.
Then on the brighter side, it is blanket brigade day so I will get some really good womanly fellowship and be able to help the homeless children keep warm. (And I am complaining of the rain, at least I have a roof over my head).
This is my stress relief day as I get about 4 1/2 hours away from the apartment and away from the stress of being a caregiver.
He said last night that he is not sure if he will be well enough to go shopping with me today, but we will see.
Here it is not even Saturday yet and I am talking as if it is.  I went to bed early and now I am up with insomnia and intestinal pain.  I can tell there is a big gas bubble in there and I am just waiting for it to disperse.
It is time I went back to bed to try to get some sleep.  My shopping ride comes about 7:30 am.
