I am a little upset and irritated with my mom. She just told me that I have to take her to the cemetery whether I wanted or not. I prefer going to the cemetery by myself. I just feel that my feelings are irrelevant. This is when I break down. I can't do this in front of anyone.

Oh, Yana, I'm feeling this with you. I hope you were able to navigate today as gently as you could and take care of yourself. It is unfortunate that your mom couldn't ask you what you were needing and then join you later on to honor her granddaughter.

I understand my friend. I'm sorry. Like JJ said, it would have been so much more comforting for you had your mom simply ASKED what YOU needed rather than demand you do what she needed.
