Sacroiliitis

So I have sacroiliitis to add to the mix. My Dr has attributed this to my SM and scoliosis. The pain in my lower back, my hips and the spasms causing walking to be difficult if at all functional are symptoms of sacroiliitis. The good thing is that I have an answer and I was able to get a handicap placard so I don't have to hurt so bad when I go places. The bad part is, I'll have problems for the rest of my life with my hips and I have a handicap placard. The tradeoff isn't really worth it though. Just another trial to work through. I'm a little indifferent in the way I feel I guess.
Today, my Dr asked my daughter to leave and then asked me how I was emotionally dealing with everything and how my husband is dealing with it. I just started bawling. It's funny, she's my new GPs NP and I've visited with her just today and she could sense that I was struggling with it. She didn't question the validity of my pain or my symptoms. She didn't make me feel stupid or as if it's all in my head. I was really impressed with her. I guess the one thing that I have been blessed with in all of this chaotic mess, I have found a fantastic NS, NL and GP with a great NP. I have prayed for so long and with all my heart and might that I would find compassionate medical professionals that will listen to me and help me.
