We have TTC for 7 years...did all the infertilitystuff...finally adopted our beautiful daughter and my periods became normal...i did a pregnancy test on Saturday of thanksgivingand it was a positive. The following Tuesday had ablood test at 200... Then Thursday it was at 500... The following week it went up to 1400  however I spotted ant it was at 2100... So it did not double, and today it is at 3000. The ultra sound revealed no sac or fetal pole...tubes appear to be clear. I should be 8 weeks ....the numbers are notadopting but rising. I am so hoping for an ectopic pregnancy because the alternative could be cancer. I meant not doubling instead of not adopting. Has this happened to anyone...could there be a sac and it was just hiding? They did an external and internal u/s. the intehurt like so much. I told the doctors this but it did not seem to make a difference. The uterine lining is about right for 8weeks. I so freaking out!
Has anyone heard of this?
