s won $50,000 on slots, he's the second person, up the street the guy won the lottery 15 years ago

this is from s - in July 1997, which probably prompted their move to the midwest for a multitude of reasons ... though so many of his years are off on all this.  no idea why?  though he has had an aneurysm, stroke in a coma for 3 weeks (re-learned to walk took 2 months) and a liver transplant since then.  its amazing what happens in people's lives and how many never reach old age at all and if they do reach it, definitely don't reach it in good health.

"Stayed at the MGM casino with ay and the kids (little one not born yet).    I went to the high roller slots and asked the change attendant if there was a machine that payed often.    She showed me which slot to play and I told her that if  I won that I would give her a good tip.

It was a five dollar machine and before long I won $1,500.    I gave her a $100 tip.

She showed me a slot that pays the jackpot at least once a month and said it's been one and a half months since someone hit.

I started to play $15 a spin and three 7's kept coming up every 15 to 20 minutes paying $1195. I just kept winning and putting it right back in.

Then three blue 7's it paid $2,200 and then three white 7's which paid $3,000.    Every possible combination kept coming in.    I played all night and I was up $16,000.

It started taking longer to win.   By then I drank ten double martinis and put almost all of it back into the machine.    I was hoping for three red 7's.    It came up red, white (for a split second I was cursing to myself) and then I did a double take.    RED, WHITE AND BLUE 7's.
I hit the JACKPOT, $50,000.

and there is the deposit on the house and the plane tickets for a move to the midwest from june to september 1998.  there -- right there without ever saving one dime.  its people like this and their stories that turn so many into gamblerholics.  he goes to G.A. meetings, same as his father before him, who lost EVERYTHING they had/he had more than once because of this same gambling addiction.  but lol.  lol.  i only know of one other person, bt's girlfriend who consistently won when they go on their gambling junkets and its the same thing.  they play the $5 slot machines.  crazy.

I\'m good luck for people who gamble. I may not do well, but the people around me do. My brother knows this, and one time when we were in Vegas he told me to pick a $1 machine to put in $10. He won $200. Then the next day he was mad at me and lost it. I\'m constantly around when someone wins. I have learned to stick to Texas Hold-Em where I can actually win some money.

i don\'t gamble. if i go i\'ll take the cash, play maybe $2 and then go walk on the boards and look at the shops or watch a show. i think half the people i know waste soooo much money on some form of gambling and if they play any sports at all, they play it with money involved for gambling, very sad.

you know his wife, who was 12 years younger than him, died one month after he recovered from his stroke, learned to walk. she was only 46, but had been ill from something she got in the hospital 20 years before that. wonder if the stress of those four months distracted her and that is why she died. same thing happened to elizabeth montgomery, she was caring for her partner so she didn\'t notice how sick she was. he recovered and she died shortly after that, it was too advanced.

this same guy is so screwy. his younger sister used to bully him. he didn\'t finish college because she would steal his homework, papers, car etc., then she would cry that she did this. she had bipolar and didn\'t always take her meds. he put up with this. she tried to kill his wife and two of his children. and still put up with it. she is dead now. he has photos of her on this blog and says she was so cool because she liked to stalk celebrities and get her photo with them (a regular delores claiborne) and i\'m thinking to myself, there is such a thing as taking \"loyalty\" too far. its absurd! he moved a couple thousand miles away, at least he did that, but had he not won that jackpot and married someone from far away, i don\'t think he\'d ever have gotten away. several in his extended family are like that. all that bad and still around it? and there is MORE. i just don\'t see being around pieces of shit like that, for any reason.

she had a crush on \"fabio\" who i knew from modelling before he was fabio. one night we went to a signing of a book he wrote himself at a club, i didn\'t recognize him at all because as fabio he looked like a different person. amazingly he recognized me and told me to call him, which i did. this guy\'s sister went hysterical crying saying how now i was going to ruin that \"for her\". and we were like, but you don\'t know him at allllll so how so? then her mother calls me and says that if i go out with my old friend, i have to bring her daughter with us on a date. and i\'m like, why don\'t i just SKIP the date, since this is getting ridiculous and he is going to be flying right back out anyway. unreal what you have to put up with because of hysterical people. her mother was so whacko, she didn\'t even comprehend that its wrong to ask people to bring a third person on a date. then she says to me, well then tell your friend to go out with my daughter. sure, like people always go around ordering other people, especially famous people to go out with certain other people. i will never comprehend WHY this guy ever put up with any of them at all. if you ask his sister. she says because he and his father are passive aggressive, live it vicariously through her and her mother, and enjoy the drama and are just as bad as them (gamblerholics also steal when they have the need to gamble) but cover up the evil that they are better.
