back from vet----19 year old cat has the disposition of "a 3 year olde"---according to vet.
$217.00----for various blood work, and thyroid test; next week for mail order thyroid results.
vet is worried about his lumpy intestines, which might be cancer...or irritible bowel.
vet gave him a steroid shot.
this almost daily throwing up...and food every two hours....and yesterday morning urinating on floor...
vet actually said that darn cat could live to be 26! (dont know why she said 26, though, i'll be very glad for 20 and a couple months)
wasnt till this morning i remembered his sister..gone...in march.
i have $260 in the bank...feeling dizzy...tinnitus bells ringing off hook...lost 5 lbs in last few days.
but, now, EVERYTHING IS GREAT IN MY OTHERWISE CRUMMY WORLD.
cat just stunk up the litterbox real bad----horray!

yeay happy for you and kitty....hope that lumpy intestine is just what ever and not cancer....I have 14yr old English Setter,,,,he is getting old now in how life is for him....has trouble getting up but can do it...just takes work...LOL
I am so glad the vet said your cat may be alright for some time. I sure hope it is not cancer. Sorry you have that extreme dizziness.
I wish I had a reason for being dizzy besides just being me . . . so happy kitty is good! Makes my whole day! He was just trying to punk ya to keep you on your toes (you\'ve obviously ignored him at some point in time). I say we go for 28!!

20 years and some months, which isn\'t too far away; hoping that darn cat will go that long, with very few vomit spells.
My 18 year old cat is the healthiest in our brood of four! My little 13 year old is the sickest so I guess you just never know! Claudia the sickest has always been my favorite and to think I might have to watch her suffer until age 26!!!!! YIKES!
sorry to hear about the 13 year old...i really should start worrying about my other, ignored, cat.
i really have hard time believing in 39 yr old cat of time magazine story.
