S.A.D. .... it's real for me

Seasonal Affect Disorder... it is real for me. As soon as the days get shorter, it starts to get cloudy and the weather is overcast.... my mood is totally altered. I have a harder time dealing w/ pain and I'm tempermental and grumpy. It's crappy.

My mom is the same way and I'm getting worse as I get older. If the days are cold and sunny... I have no problem. Today was yuck. I hate it. It's the only thing I do not like about winter... my energy level plummets.

oh well.

S.A.D. is real for everybody I have discussed it with in recent years. I'm pretty exclusive on who I discuss it with. The folks who handle it well are the ones who able to work with the changes instead of fighting them. Yup, these are the folks I go to for help with my own psychotic SAD. December is one long trauma anniversary month for me, which affects the SAD radically.

Works in progress. . .

I think lots of us suffer from this, love the cooler weather but the short days and all the rian make it difficult to want to do much of anything!!
