11 years ago today, a beautiful man was shot in his face and killed by strangers on his street in new orleans. that beautiful man was russell chaffee, my soul-mate, musical partner, and the love of my life. i miss him more than words can describe. he was a very talented musician, a vegan, a kind and gentle person. i have never known anyone else like him.
 
sad today. feeling sad for his mother. feeling sad for my baby that he will never know this wonderful person. sad for myself, too, i must admit...
