Running out of hope.

My last post was some time ago. Since then my mom and I were working together to getting her to all her doctors appointments and getting her social security started. I was able to help her narrow all of the crazy appointments to the main trareplant clinic so they can start doing their tests. It was suppose to be this past Tuesday to start the blood test and the banner clinic. Unfortunately she had an accident on Monday and Tuesday . On Monday morning she had passed out twice in front of me. I called 911 and they took he to the ER. 3 hours layer they sent her home by her self in a veyo hospital free transit noone was home she had to look for the spare and I was at work not knowing they discharged her. When I got home about 5 hours later I see her about to eat and we had a conversation about her medication and food intake and told her its important that she eats to absorb all the medication. Later that night or I should say next morning it was at 1:40 am when my dogs woke me up to let me know something is wrong. I went to my moms room and tried to open the door and I hear say "Ow" I look down and I see her hair on the bottom of the door. She some how managed to trip over something and fell or she passed out again and was on the floor. She was able to move a little so I can get in her room. I asked her what happen how long was she on the floor and if she can get up. I was able to help her to get on all fours and she crawled back into bed. She said she was okay and just needs to lay down. She told me its okay and to go back to bed. Well two hours later my dogs woke me up aging and this time I thought they needed to go to the restroom its like 4:40 in the morning now . But then I heard my mom call my name. I went to her room to check on her and thats when she said she can't move. Her arms were moving and feet and toes were moving but couldnt move her body. I didmy take any chances and I asked her if she needs the paramedics she said yes. So back to the hospital she went. I had to go to work and with her condition theres was nothing noone could tell me anyway. I went to her when I got out of work and that's when she told me that SHE BROKE HER BACK. shes not paralyzed because the broken bone is not dislodged so they made a body cast for her so she doesnt damage the spinal cord. Now heres the thing. She is in end dtage liver disease and needs a transplant and now in the hospital with a broken back. With all the trauma and pain all the meds they are giving her and getting no rest her ammonia levels spiked and now she is in and out of consciousness. The doctors told me that they are trying to get the transplant doctors to speed up the process to getting her a new liver so they can start talking back surgery. So with the current condition we need the ammonia levels to go down so they can place the body cast so she can sit up to avoid getting pneumonia . hopefully get a new liver than fix her back. She has a lot of recovery to do after all of that so she will be coming home for a very long time. And even if we can get the ball rolling. Evrything was going great before this. She was taking her meds properly she was cooking for herself and in the process of getting her car fixed. I was even ready to go back to work because everything was coming together and then all this happend on my first day of work. Its hard to stay positive at a time like this . And right when you think family will be there for us in this time of need noone is here for her and I think thats what is killing the both of us. Other than having the worlds greatest husband to be our strength my mom and I have never felt more alone. So please to all of you who took the time to read this please send us your strength through prayer. Please. Thank you.
