Ruminations

As of late I've been thinking a lot about marriage.  I'm going to my best friends wedding the Saturday after Thanksgiving and although I am extremely happy for her I can't seem to help being jealous.  I want to get married more than ever.  I've been dating the same guy for over 2 and a half years but he doesn't seem to want to get married now.  I love him but I also want a family more than I thought.  He already has 2 kids but I also want my own.  Should I break it off and look for someone marriage-minded?  All thoughts are welcome.
