Round and round in circles!
Well - back to hospital last Monday to see usual HIV doctor. Again he admitted my notes had not arrived from Central registry - he was not happy - neither was I. This brand new facility has been open for 8 weeks and all records now have to be filed centrally (instead of in the specialist clinic) - which means they cannot cope with all demands for patient notes each day, so they don't all get sent out.
Doctor has filed a formal complaint highlighting 'potential patient safety issue' thankfully. I doubt it will do any good - Management at this place seem to want to overlook of hide any problems - like Emergency patients left on trolleys for four hours without being checked by a doctor (a friend had to threaten to call the local press before a doctor saw her mother!)
Well - nothing new - they can't work out what the issue is with my leg - knee is now swollen and doctor confirmed I am not imagining anything! So More antibiotics and being given some chlorhexadine foaming wash to try to ensure my skin is kept free from any bacteria to give a chance to knock out anything which might be getting into me .......... After that - back to square one.

Ah well - not much more I can do apart from shout and kick up a fuss - and it might get to that if this continues to track up my leg any further. If it reaches my thigh it might start to effect "important bits"!!!!

Bear, I\'m so sorry to hear this. I thought this was about to be behind you :( I was wondering why you weren\'t around, now I understand why. Come to the states, I guarantee you will leave on the mend, guaranteed. What would you ever do without the important bits xx
I am around - just a bit \"hacked off\". Also been very busy getting organised to revamp our garden - this starts tomorrow so hoping and praying for some good weather for a few days - although the forecast is for \"showers\".....
I am OK really - just miffed - pissed off - annoyed - angry over not knowing. If nothing can be done I would prefer to know rather than be given silly hope that \"this will sort it all out....\" and then be left without much change.
