Round and round I Go

They call it a cycle of pain. This is when you've let the pain become bad enough your brain circles it to occur repeatedly, or something like that. I'm on the wheel again. It has become so bad the last few days that I'm dragging a leg, the nerve pain has spread and intensified, burns like an electrical fire in my fusion and radiates down my thigh. I am not sleeping for more than three hours at a time and back on my meds. I pray nothing is wrong with my fusion. The way I feel tells me it's something, but what I couldn't say. I will wait until the third of July to find out.
I see my regular physician this week. I have put off other tests over the last three years and must get them done. I need a mammogram to see if pre-existing tumors (benign, so far) have grown or if there are more. I'm coming up on fifty so will discuss need for colonoscopy as well as the bone density test I never did get when referred. If my back is causing me grief then it's wise to get done what I can now.
I have been reading the journal updates of my friends here. I'm so grateful for your inspiration, helpful ideas and tales of your daily life. You know who you are...thanks, from the bottom of my heart. It is so nice to know I am not alone. I may even take up the recommendation of one who said to go to Chicos to look for a pretty outfit. I want to be pretty again, scars or no scars.
I have a coffee date with a pal tomorrow. She is my rock right now, doesn't let me isolate and listens when I talk too much. Poor thing. Ha ha.I will pay dearly, in pain and hurt the next few days for a simple outing but the pleasure of it and God's grace in our friendship makes it worth while.
I am still.awaiting the warming of our pool so I can walk in it. Hubby put non-stop pads.on the stairs for.me so I don't slip and fall. I have to be careful of spasms again so no deep end without my noodle.
I'm reading and still quilting, a little for the quilting as it hurts to do too long at my machine. I need backing fabric and hate that I have to decide between medical treatments and fabric. Ha ha. I'm such a chick. Some girls like shoes, I like fat-quarters. It lets me be creative and generous to others by celebrating the gifts God gave me.
Night all, best wishes for a pain free tomorrow.

Sorry my reply didn\'t stay put. Or did I just think I had replied and hadn\'t, such is fibro and the distraction of neck and back pain. Hope you have got things sorted by now. Sending gentle hugs

Hope you are feeling better. My MIL made beautiful quilts. I am trying just like crocheting, but it\'s little by little.

Wishing you painfree happy days.
