Round and Round
Like the old Ratt song from the 80's. The only problem is that I loved that song. I don't love what's going on at home right now.
My stbx has taken down all the artwork and had donated most of it. The walls feel barren, much like the last fifteen years of our marriage. She's bound and determined to get to Israel by November, come hell or high water. She's also taking the sanity of four other people in the house with her.
I can't wait for this divorce to be over. For the past ten years, I've felt my stbx would have been better off marrying a nice but highly impulsive Jewish man. Someone who'd be able to understand her as I'm unable to do so.
In the meantime, I have to figure out my living situation. She wants her money from her half of the house and she wants it yesterday. Do I buy her out? Do I sell? If I sell, I need a place to stay. Rents are not just high as hell, they're nonexistent. As for paring down and buying a smaller home? Sheesh! Forget it! Not unless you're a cash buyer and are willing to pay a much higher price than what the home is actually worth.

I have read your other posts and I really think you need a divorce lawyer.
My concern for you is that you will sell out of desperation, just to get her off your back.
But you may regret that decision later. It is half your house, too. You sell it when you want to sell it. Don't cave in to her timeline and demands. Who cares what she wants... she can just leave now then. You don't have to do anything you don't want to do. Plus you have the other people in the house to think of (including her own daughter, who she is deserting). So no, don't cave in. Think about this very carefully and clearly. She does not call the shots here. If she wants to leave the marriage and the country, then she can just leave. That has nothing to do with YOUR house money.
The other reason for getting a lawyer is what if she comes back later with - she now needs support payments, half of your retirement account, etc? Just because she says NOW that all she wants is half the house, is no guarantee that she will not ask you for more money later. Maybe things won't work out where she moves to and she is broke so she will come to you for more money. You will not be protected unless you have a legal document.
It would seem that it would be hard for you to move on, wondering if she will hit you up again later.
