Rough few months

I am overwhelmed and don't know where to start. I suppose because it has been building up for so long that there was a straw that broke my back. It has all happened in such a fast order that I am not sure which straw it was. Isn't this how life happens. My auto accident sent me into a flare that I may have been able to recover from in a fairly short period of time. I apparently pulled a ligament in my knee and groin which just needed rest and  aspirin. I just didn't know it at the time.
Living in the desert, it is important to keep up with the weeds and tumbleweeds. I go out every few days with my hula hoe and scrape at the weeds and tumbleweeds for a few hours. My responsibility is my 1/2 acre and 3 right-of-ways. I had it all done but 2 of the right-of-ways. When my nephew asked me to watch his 2 dogs (plus my 2 dogs and 1 cat) for a week or 2. Of course, I agreed. What's 2 more dogs for 1-2 weeks?
I was quite a sight to watch as I tried walking 4 dogs at once (3 Chihuahuas and a doxie). I would have thought it would be easy because they were small. I was wrong. Being small just meant that they could quickly tie me and each other up in the leashes. The walks were at a very slow pace. And the piles of poop! It felt like I was picking up poop constantly. Feeding was a free-for-all. All the dogs suddenly became so needy. They each DEMANDED attention all the time. They had dozens of toys, but all 4 would fight over just one toy. The cat disappeared after 2 days never to be seen again. And the 2 weeks turned into 7. My ligaments definitely got no rest. Good thing I love these dogs. It's just that their needs exceeded my energy.
Three days after the dogs arrived, my hot water heater sprung a leak in the garage.  I didn't discover it until the water was running down the driveway. For normal people, this would be a manageable disaster. Unfortunately my garage has hundreds of cardboard boxes covering the garage floor wall-to-wall about 4 boxes deep. It took the insurance company 5 days to get someone out to unload the garage. So I worked 10-12 hours a day unloading boxes onto a tarp. I was lifting heavy boxes and I was on my feet all the time. This did not give my ligaments any rest. My flare was screaming at me. But I had no choice but to keep working.
The city came by and saw my stuff on the tarps and decided it was a nuisence (sp) and gave me 2 weeks to clean it up. I was at a loss. I could not work any faster than I was. My leg was giving out on me and I began using a cane.
The insurance sent some more help plus they got me a storage container. They hauled off the trash but not in time for the city. The city gave me 2 more weeks to get my property in top ship shape. A day later the fire dept sent a letter giving me 2 weeks to finish with the weeds and tumble weeds on the 2 right-of-ways.
I worked hard and within 2 weeks I had stuff back in my garage, storage shed. or hauled off to the dumps. I have washed 18 loads of laundry to see what I could salvage.

I have done nothing since. The dr informed me that it will take 'a long time' to heal. So now I am doing the healing part.
