Rolller Coaster

OK, got 3/4 of the way thru this twice & DS kicked me out so I'm taking a diff approach. Doing it as a separate doc & we'll hopefully cut & paste it successfully.
Saw the GI specialist recently re my weird digestive issues. I almost cancelled the appt as I'd have days where things seemed almost normal & then boom things get weird again. I'm glad I went. He's easy to talk with, will really discuss & explain things. He viewed some recently hospital tests & an only concern was my blood level as it relates to anemia. He did a 3 yr graph comparison for me to look at & my lowest has been 99, however this last one was at 92. He wants to retest in a month & he'll see if any scopes are necessary & advise me accordingly. We can't rule out that if I was battling a virus then that can have an affect on things so we'll see where it goes fr here. I do know that my overall eating patterns are having more of an impact on how well I am then it did yrs back. When I fall off the fresh & unprocessed eating habits then I think thats having a major impact. My body seems to be happiest when I'm focused on vegetarian, unprocessed and mediterranean. I've got to reorganize cause hubby still likes beef burgers, the odd steak, ribs, etc. & rightfully so. So I'm in the middle of rethinking, regrouping & seeing how I can easily make this work without it being too much of a burden on me physically and mentally. Onward I go right.
Hubby is doing reasonably well. There's always up & down times but all we can do is our best & keep moving on. This time of the yr there are so many things that he misses & it's frustrating but I try & tell him we need to focus on making life happy at home in any even silly ways we can right. But I've had lots of time where I feel like life is passing me by & sometimes it really bothers me & I'm not sure how I feel abt that. I wonder if there is some deep oh poor me pity thing which is really not like me at all, I hope! Oh well, something to ponder I'm thinking.
A brief while back I had my first baby squirrel showed up in the yard. He was so round & small & fuzzy, way too darn cute. He looked so terrified. I've a feeling he wandered away fr the nest & was terrified. I approached him & got him to check out some peanuts although at first he didn't seem to know what to do with them. So I thought OK I'll leave you, check on you later & go fr there.   The little squirt tried to follow me so I kept shooing him away. I finally left him & a while later I'm looking at Angel in the garden. There was something weird abt the way she was behaving. So I looked more closely & the little squirt was sitting right beside her. The hilarious problem was when I convinced her to leave the baby & come in with mom the little squirt was doing his darndest to run after Angel. He finally got to a protected area beside the garage so I took branches to sort of cover him & let him be. Thankfully the next morning he was gone. But he keeps coming back almost every day for peanuts. It was something quite special & almost magical somehow. Foster mommy babysitter for a squirrel thats me, LOL.
Anywho I'll sign off for now. I give special hugs to all my group that checks this out & shares thoughts with me. Love ya all.

Hi, sweet Kitty, I love you too!! Your baby squirrel story is so cute. I have a few families of squirrels that live in the trees in my yard. We put out peanuts and sunflower seeds and I love it when the babies come down to nibble on them. They are such acrobats and fun to watch.
I hope all works out good with your digestive issues. Your doctor sounds really nice and that means a lot when you have a doctor who is easy to talk to.
Hugs and love from me to you!

Yes, the Angel/squirrel story is wonderful! : ) I\'m glad to see the update here. I\'ve been wondering how you are doing. I hear you about the diet... it sounds very similar to how my digestion goes... I can get away with very little these days. It\'s a bummer but at least we know what works for us (most of the time). Hang in there with hubby and the limitations. I know it\'s enjoyable. Sometimes memories of fun summer activities are nearly as good as the actual ones and a LOT less work haha. When I smell a neighbor\'s campfire, I sit and relax and remember campfires as a barefoot child and it\'s still fun and easier on my feet. Praying for you and sending you hugs across the miles...

Hope the retest gives you good numbers. Glad the specialist is easy to talk to. That's half the battle I think! I have a squirrel that steals hummingbird nectar! Never, ever have I had this happen before. Little fellow is going to be diabetic at this rate. I try to eat fresh and unprocessed too. They put terrible things in our food. Praying for those next numbers. Hugs...
