Rollercoaster Friday

What a day!!!I got up thinking this was a great day. A little bit hot, but thankfully I found out now that my air conditioning didn't work. I tried to use it yesterday in the 93 degree heat and nothing...I asked a friend here in the Park who works on air conditioning and heating for homes to look at it. He said he probably could fix it today if it was something simple, but if the condenser was gone, it would be cheaper to buy a new air conditioner! Wholly crude! what do they cost? oh probably around $1000. So I had to wait til he got off work today for him to check it. That would be somewhere around 4pm to 6pm.Yuck!the hottest time of the day! So I planned a trip to my storage unit to get my fan. Then around 11am this morning I am getting ready to run my errands and go to storage, when I realize the ringer on my phone was still off from the night before! I had 2 missed calls one left me a message, said to call about my mammo on Monday. So before I did I wanted to run my errands. Got mail, went to bank, got fan from storage. Looked at mail on way home, letter from Breast Cancer Prevention Fund asking for money to defer the cost of mammos at $125 because the state of California has so much more unemployment and people are losing their health insurance!!! Guess what years ago (maybe 6)I gave money to help, but that was before I even dreamed I could ever have Breast Cancer, I obviously haven't continued to give and don't remember until now getting anymore requests, so where did they get my address? Oh yeah my ex. So now I am going to write them a letter asking them to help me, now that I have no health insurance and must pay $140 to know if I have more cancer. Of course what makes this so upsetting to me is, if they do see anything, there is nothing I can do but let it kill me. I have no money to pay for any more surgeries, I still have some left from my first bout with cancer, how do I pay for more? I know I am making a short story long, but I want to get over thinking and feeling this way! So I get home, wander around for a while to find a spot my cell will work in for a while and call about the mammo. First they put me on hold for ever, then girl announces herself and asks how she can help, I tell I have a message from "Anita" to call back about Monday's mammo. Okay, take birth date, put me on hold. After several minutes comes back what is your name and birth date, I just gave them to you, but here they are again. Can I put you on hold? yes...I just don't have any appointment for you on Monday are you sure you have the right Imagining location. Yes this is the # they left on the message...are you Anita. No but I can help you. Well Anita knows why she called me, please ask her. What is your birth date again? look if you don't have any appointment for me on Monday forget it!!! Goodbye, click. Call my family doctor who referred me to these people a year ago. Oh, Meg(doctors nurse)will get your message on Monday. Well a lot of good that does me. I had other appointments for Monday that I canceled or rescheduled because this mammo to me is more important. Thought about it some more and called mammo # again,new person answers. I have a message from "Anita" to call this # can I please speak to her! Sure, put me on hold, comes back after awhile, can I have name &birth date, no, my name is ... Anita called me she will know why. OK, put on hold, several minutes go by, I can help you if you give me, NO I will ONLY speak with ANITA, are  you ANITA? no,but I will try to connect you, Listen if you can't put me through to Anita any supervisor or Manager will do. She is the supervisor. Okay put her on. I have to put you on hold first. ok,finally another voice comes on, may have your name,etc. is this Anita? Well this is Nita. I said look "Anita" called me about my mammo on Monday I need to talk to her. Well there is another Anita, let me talk to her!ok, put on hold again. Finally speak to another voice, tell story about message, Not me don't know you, what is your name,etc. Tell her whole story really getting mad and upset. She tells me 'Don't get up set!!!!" Yeah right! Well I can't find any appointment on Monday for you, let me investigate and call you back. Ok. that was at 1:30pm. At 4pm automated machine calls to remind me I have an appointment on Monday for mammo at 2:15pm, oh my god do you mean they couldn't find me because I wrote down 2pm, they tell you to be there 15 minutes early for processing.!! So I wait at 5pm "Anita" calls back, so sorry can't find you anywhere...funny just got an automated call from your offices about appointment on Monday 2:15pm, not from us and I have called all the other imaging businesses in town, none of them know you......well should I just show up at the office on Monday? sure now who is your doctor? Then it hits me, my name change, my doctor never bothered to change it,bet last year he put it under Gunderson. Tell that to "Anita" ohhhhhhhhhhh, there you are! PLEASE CHANGE MY NAME! can't do that you have to do it Monday when you come in.......
Meanwhile air conditioning friend shows up, takes a look says a wire came off. Try air now, perfect! Nothing else wrong!!!
So now I am on my way to play cards will write more later.
