Robin Williams
I just thought I'd write something about the man who brought the gift of laughter to so many, and yet couldn't seem to find the peace and joy he gave to others within himself.I knew he'd had problems with substance abuse but I didn't know he was severely depressed. I know we'll never know what the final straw was for him. I know only too well the dark place depression can take you. How people around you can remind you over and over again how worthwhile you are and how life is worth living, but unless you believe it it doesn't feel real and it's easy to slip into that mindset.I remember watching a commercial for Mac air and I was moved by the message and wanted to know who narrated the commercials. It was none other than Robin Williams. It was taken from the movie "Dead Poets Society" I have not seen the movie, I think I will now.But here is the verse. Robin you gave us so many verses in this play called life. You had so many more to give us.RIP

hi Lily, thank you for sharing your thoughts, and feelings. it is a very sad, and stunning shock, the passing of Robin Williams. he\'s one of the all time greats, and truly tragic, how he struggled, with addiction, and depression. i think both of those illnesses, will be more in the mainstream, as they both are illnesses, that can be fatal.
We\'re saddened by the passing of Robin Williams. we\'re fans of him, his comedy, movies, tv shows. he shined bright, on the world, and even as he is no longer physically with us, his spirit will live on, forever, with the joy, laughter, and smiles he brought to millions of us. we keeping him, and his family, in our thoughts, and prayers.
