Robbed!
A friend of mine got robbed last night. He works the overnight shift at a convenience store. And they hurt him. John's a nice guy. Wouldn't hurt anyone unless they hurt him first. The 2 guys decided they wanted cigarettes and while John was getting them, one of the guys hit him in the head with the butt of a pistol. His store the second store hit in a hour and a half's time. The first store was 4 blocks from where I live and I knew the guy that works there too. And they hit him too. It brought back memories of when I was robbed at gunpoint almost 40 years ago. I know it's no fun to have a gun pointed at your head. The guy who robbed me was arrested 3 days after the robbery because I could describe him so well. It may not be connected, but when I got home, the verticle blinds of my house were messed up. Apparently, Foxy went after something or someone near the house. Hopefully, it was a cat. Not a burglar again. It's getting dangerous in the world out there. I hope they catch the SOBs that robbed John. No-one deserves to be robbed.

Good old foxy, doing his job. This robbery stuff is really scary. I live in the country and am very grateful my neighbors do watch out for me. Even with that security it could still happen.
Wow, that\'s really scarey. I\'m sorry for your friend, and I\'m very sorry that you had a gun pointed at you. What an awful experience. I hope your friend recovers OK, although I\'m sure he\'ll never forget what happened.
