Robbed!
A friend of mine got robbed last night. He works the overnight shift at a convenience store. And they hurt him. John's a nice guy. Wouldn't hurt anyone unless they hurt him first. The 2 guys decided they wanted cigarettes and while John was getting them, one of the guys hit him in the head with the butt of a pistol. His store the second store hit in a hour and a half's time. The first store was 4 blocks from where I live and I knew the guy that works there too. And they hit him too. It brought back memories of when I was robbed at gunpoint almost 40 years ago. I know it's no fun to have a gun pointed at your head. The guy who robbed me was arrested 3 days after the robbery because I could describe him so well. It may not be connected, but when I got home, the verticle blinds of my house were messed up. Apparently, Foxy went after something or someone near the house. Hopefully, it was a cat. Not a burglar again. It's getting dangerous in the world out there. I hope they catch the SOBs that robbed John. No-one deserves to be robbed.
