Road to recovery

I am very optimistic and happy today. I realized that I will never get ahead by gambling and that every day I continue down that road is another day I will have to trek back. I learned that gambling is one of the most self-destructive habits a person can have. Sure some people use gambling for an expensive hobby, yet the people who play the most are the poor. They sell you a false dream and false hope knowing that desperate people always fall prey. There is no magic bullet to get you out of the situations you put yourself in throughout your life- Hard work and perseverance is how people truly get ahead in life.
