River my pal is gone

River named such as she was a throw away cat ~6 months old along the River where we were holding a bbq with friends.  While most of the men in our group wanted to play pot shot at her to put her down I found she was quite tame and put her in my car to find her a good home.  I did MINE for 17 years...
She was pretty good size cat but the best mouser I ever had.  She was amongst others a set of kittens who we ended up with, our other two cats and eventually another throw out so she had to share us but she was the last of two left in my home so I had been giving her lots of attention hopefully to make up for the other years - but she was always there for us and pushed in for her time. 
 
I will miss your River....its so hard to decide when is the best time but I feel she is now pain free, can hear again and joining her other pals.....GOOOD BYE GIRL thank you for the memories
