Ripped Band-Aid Off

Took my teen girls to a movie only to come home and find she had been packing her stuff, taking items off walls and shelves, etc.

My girls were very upset and crying.  All I knew to do was hug them, tell them I love them and that I was sorry this happened.  Neither of them wanted to talk.  I'm scared, hurt, angry, sad and shocked.  I feel like I hate her so much right now.

I feel like I need so much help and I am going through DivorceCare, seeing a therapist and taking my meds.  I pray constantly.  I know God is with me and feel guilty when I feel like I'm not leaving it in His hands.

I'll take any prayers or advice as I am spinning right now.  This is all so raw, real and sickening.  19 years and two kids, my heart is broken.  The band-aid was ripped off by her tonight and it hurt like hell.  Help.

I am so sorry for all your pain and hurt.

You are doing all the right things to Help
yourself move thru this. Thats all you can
do, you can not control what she does or
Doesn't do. You are totally powerless.

Keep it together and pray, it does get better
It just takes time to heal your heart and grieve
Your losses. HUGS

So sorry CD. This has to be the most painful experience for you and the girls. Unfortunately we are just part of their process. A one sided love will never work. I'm praying for you.

The pain is indescribable and paralyzing at times. We have all been there. When I get in one of those mind sets, I do my best to try to talk myself "off the ledge". It is harder than hell, however. Your mind seems to want to take control and keep you in pain. The devil has taken over. I have a mantra that I repeat over and over and over until I feel I can continue with a normal daily activity.
Better and Better Every Day
Better and Better in Every Way

We can only control our happiness. Hoping they see how miserable we are won't change anything. You have to have faith that after enough time has passed, we will all be able to see that we are in a much better place. Time, it goes so slowly some times. But don't wish it away. We only have one life, choose to live it!

And i was living there. Thats a huge violation
If she did IMO.

My ex was always in and out when i was not

To Keep good healthy boundaries with Her if
