All I wanted was to live a simple life, stay healthy, practice my profession, and be well- and thoroughly loved. In other words, be happily married, experience intellectual adventures, and make enough money so that we could be comfortable.
None of this was to be. I'm not pitying myself. This happens to virtually everyone.
My wife set out to make me miserable, and she did. First, she cheated on me three times before we were married: 1) she went to bed with her former boyfriend. 2) she met a jazz artist and went to bed with him. 3) she went to Las Vegas and had a menage a trois with a woman and a lawyer who was a friend of theirs. She always evaded or denied things. Apparently, Brenda has no conception of "emotional intimacy," which is reached by way of honesty, truth, openness, and sharing of one's experiences...
