Right Here, Right Nowa poem

My eyes have seen the pits of Hell, I know you’ve seen it too.  A prison made within our mind, and not a soul to tell.  The blackness seemed so far and deep, the pain to last forever?  The Demon of anxiety has many tricks, the Demon is so clever.  In my darkest days so many days, all battles fought and lost.  But even at my weakest point, I’d win this war at any cost!  In defeat I gathered wisdom, even in my weakened state.  This Demon it could only live, in sadness, fear and hate.  With this knowledge I had found, the Demon’s Achilles heel.  All the sadness, fear and hatred…my God it wasn’t real!  My sword was made of knowledge, then my shield of Prozac came.  And God gave me the power, “Slay the Demon” He exclaimed!   Dwelling in the past my friends, and fearing what future might be.  Gives the Demon power, so my sword I give to Thee!  The future holds its secrets tight, allow the past its final bow.  Join me my friends, the light you’ll see, right here in the here and NOW!!
