Riding around.....

Yesterday proved to be an interesting day! Had to get a second cortizone injection for 'trigger finger'! The interesting part was the somewhat long ride to the doc! It was an hour, one-way, and one of my cousins and one of my friends  took me. The road was a four-laner, and I think she was re-living the Nascar race from Sunday! Whew! She was hanging the curves, singing with the radio, and drinking coffee all at the same time! I'm glad I had the back seat to lie down in, and couldn't see all of her driving maneuvers! She has many driving talents and is very entertaining when it comes to, as she call it, a 'road trip'! We hang out together alot, and there's always alot of laughter and being just plain silly! She is disabled also, and always looks foreward to getting out and about once in awhile. She was so excited about this excursion, she even had to dye her hair before we went! LOL! I love to spend time with her. We have the same warped sense of humor, and always end up laughing at the clumsy things and the 'I forgot' things that we go through. The friend that went with us, we have decided, is the 'brain' of the trio. We depend on her to find things we lose here and there, and do that in a humorous way, too! We call her the 'boss', cos we depend on for directions on how to do everything cos we don't remember! It was a tiring day, but a pretty good day cos of all the laughter! I'm surprised that we got to the doc and back and aren't still lost in space somewhere!
