Rheumatologist Visit
Finally! My husband and I went to the rheumatologist today. I liked him and he was comfortable to talk to. Of course there are no answers yet. He drew a bunch of blood. MRI of the brain and lower lumbar tomorrow. He says he does not treat blood tests! Positive ANA and my Sjogren's score was an 8 but I have not had dryness of mouth or eyes except when I was on prednisone. He seems skeptical about Sjogrens. He commented that I had CNS symptoms and symptoms of Lupus and Sjogren's so I guess the search has begun to get a dx. I will be glad to rule out MS. At least I hope to rule it out!. It looks like he wants lots of clinical evidence. I am OK with that. Keep me in your prayers please. Pam

It is so frustrating isn\'t it. I hope you get some real answers soon. I know when I finally got my diagnosis, it was nice to know what was actually wrong, it took so much fear out of what I was feeling. Hang in there, it sounds like you have a good and thorough Dr. You will soon know what is up with your body and be able to start getting treatment. Blessings to you always!
Sounds like you\'re on the right road. Hope he can find out what the problem is and treat it. Great job.
