Rheumatologist visit

Steroid injection today.  Hope this will gently bring me into a more level place.  If not, it is prednisone burst time.  I feel crazy during those.  I am happy he will let me try low dose naltrexone after we see how this injection works.  One thing at a time!  He says he has put people, at their request, on naltrexone because it doesn't hurt anything but he has not seen much success in the past.  He says people with Sjogren's and the like don't really have any options for fatigue and pain except steriods.  I guess like many sick people I am looking for the magic bullet!  When I prayed today I was going to ask for the injection to work but went for broke as usual and asked to wake up completely healed tomorrow!  Why not?  Who knows he may show me mercy!
