Revival Finished

I finished the revival I was doing this week. Attendance got better each night.  Tuesday night my daughter went with me and sang.  We didn't have anyone come forward but what happened the next day made up for it.
Friday, I was asked to come to a neighboring town and talk to a young 16 year old boy who was having some issues with his mom.  I went and talked to this young man at his great-grandmothers and I was pleased that he agreed to talk to me.  He is like a lot of teenagers, kind of mouthy and he admitted that he was.  He is basically a good boy.  He isn't on drugs, alcohol or in trouble with the law.  He just feels like his mom keeps tabs on him too much.  "Mothering" he called it.  We had a nice visit and I also talked to his mom.  There was another small boy there, about nine, another great grandchild and he was reading his Bible.  He started asking me questions about the bible and about being saved.  I asked him if he would like to accept Christ as his Saviour and he said yes so, we prayed and this young boy was saved.  About 20 minutes later, 2 more great-grandaughters came in with their parents and they told me they wanted to talk to me about Jesus too.  I invited them to set on the floor in front of me and I explained the plan of salvation to them, how Jesus loved them and died for them and they told me that they knew that.  They told me they wanted to be saved so, I explained salvation to them and ask them if they would pray with me.   They said yes.  After the prayer, both girls had tears in their eyes and they gave me a big hug.  All 3 of them want me to baptize them as soon as we can get a date set.  There girls were 12 and 9.  Their mom and dad were setting there on the couch and they had tears running down their faces too.  What a glorious evening this turned out to be.

Tomorrow night, I get to go baptize my 12 year old grandaughter in her church.  She was saved about 2 months ago and asked her Pastor if her grandad could baptize her.  This will be a wonderful evening too.
God continues to bless me with the compassion for people, large or small, young or old.  I am so blessed and so awed that God uses me like he does.  To Him may all the Glory and Praise be given.  I am just a vessel He uses.
