revising friend list

I am starting to revise my "friends" list.  I have about 44 "friends" and only hear from about 5 or 6 so, I am going to cut the list down.  I see no sense of a page of photos and Avi's and never hear from any of those they represent.   Should someone see they are removed, they can request a friendship and I will gladly accept them again but, I personally thought this was best for all concerned.
