Revealed
The performer of my serenade has been revealed. Tuesday morning, just after sunrise, I was leaning on the back gate waiting for Foxy, when it came again. Just above me and to the left. I looked up and there he was. About ten feet up in a tree,,,a small red cardinal. I have heard cardinals before, but only their short little chirps. Their full song is beyond belief! It's too bad they don't sing their full song more often. But, then, it wouldn't be as special.

What\'s special is it\'s mating season, and the birds are singing. Cardinals always make my head spin such a beauty. Yesterday I saw about 35 turkeys, 10 were male with their tail feathers in the displayed mode. What a sight, and lots of calling too.
