Returning to full time work

WELL..

it is as it sounds...!

New job, structure and hours, confined to an office.

Will have to see how i go on this one.

I had to decline a great counselling job - that would otherwise have been a dream... but at the moment scares me because I still have a stress response and worry that dealing with peoples problems will only bring me down.
I only want to work part time so it's the most difficult decision!!! between part time FULL on stress and 3 hours travel vs. LOW stress, little travel but full time work.

I chose the later and fingers crossed it'll work out alright...

Work is a means to an end, but so much time and energy it demands.
I have the same feeling I had in the job I disliked in 2010, so in this I know that I need to resign.
Only I AM pregnant! and what a difference this makes. I\'m still applying for other jobs that don\'t appear to demand too much in the way of heavy lifting, but i haven\'t had any bites yet.
I do not wish to return to counselling, though I miss my old job terribly in some ways. I know that there is a warmth and love as I invested so much in it, and now i am without it. This pains me and tries to cause regret but I won\'t give it permission. I made the right decision because my anxiety was escalated and I was burnt out.

I will try to take it one day at a time and not allow it to consume me. Yes it is HARD but I will try to remain for 3 months and once I have reached this target I hope to achieve 5 and then perhaps I can leave in October. If I leave sooner, it will be because I have found another job someplace part time.. that\'s the plan.
