Return Passage
Youngest son and family return to Texas today with all the mixed emotions of a good visit. The over-stimulation of novelty blending with the yin and yang of the everyday home drama make for allot of unexpected emotional hiccoughs.
Best beloved sis and I spent most of the past two weeks putting the double Grammy on the grandkids, both hers and mine, while making plans on getting her house up to liveable standards. The strain of working, caring for two geriatric patients and sharing care for twin granddaughters is showing deeply on the house. The current plan is for me to stay on after YS and family return to the home front today. Sis and I have been clearing spaces in her house while we got to know each other's grandkids. When school starts back up this week, I will be painting while she works her paid job in the school cafeteria. So we hope. Prayers in progress.
Busy times. Time to pack. Persilly and I will be moving back into Sis's junk room after we drop the young family at the train station. Her junk room isn't quite as junky as it was last week. We are suffering delusions of turning it back in to open living space. More prayers and healing hopes.

Sometimes projects are the best activities ever.
Really happy for you that your sister has you and you have your sister. Sounds like the grand kids were the Saving Grace of your recent challenging days. Grateful for your little Persilly's love of you and the comfort she brings...it's a cloudy and rainy day with chill in the air in CT, my sweet little chachi is all curled into a ball of soft bunny rabbit fur next to me snuggling :) I posted some pics in my journal of me, John, chachi and my gardens. take good care ~Arfie, best to you and yours ml
:-) Glad you and the g-kids and the sis and the pupster are on the plus column of this. Puma purrs.
