I stopped participating in this site becuase I needeed more info. what I have found is that information is good but people supporting people is what I need. I had my nephrectomy and had a 6 week recoery then went back to my normal life,with watch and wait. in dec 2011 waiting stopped and I had a thoracotomy to remove nodes. they took 61 and 50 were positive for my renal cancer. I immediately started on sutent and quite 6 months later due to killer side effects, because of I lost my job. I was off for about 6 months and significant and new growth took place during my break. i am now on Votrient with good shrinking response and moderate side effects. I sleep alot.sometimes 18 hrs a day. I see names from before and hope I will be accepted with open arms. I am confused so often with how I want thr rest of live to go if  have any influense except love and understanding. I have chomophobe renal cancer but it is still renal cancer. as my doc said good cause it grows slow,bad cause it grows slow because drug therapy is for rapidly reorpducing cells. glad to be back
