Retrieval date is set for Friday!
Just go the call! My retrieval date is set for 6 a.m. on Friday! I had my last ultrasound today and let me tell you, it HURT! It actually hurt to pee when I woke up this morning because my ovaries are so freaggin big! But I took that as a positive thing and I just knew that these eggs are ready. You know how the ultrasound lady literally NEVER tells you anything, well my lady said "yup, you're ready!"
I was actually joking with DH yesterday and told him I feel like a hen that's about lay some eggs, made it even funnier that I have 12 eggs, which makes a carton of course, haha!
So here are the details, I have 12 eggs measuring between 17 and 26. I'm so excited that my body finally responded and that the slow and steady growing follicles made the cut. I feel so excited but of course physically miserable but hey I'm glad they grew!
My instructions now are to take the Ganierelix and Ovudrel tonight, antibiotics tomorrow, then retrieval on Friday. I'm excited, nervous, scared, pretty much everything! I can't help but think that one of these follies will be our future baby or babies, it's really quite amazing. I'm praying for this to work!!!

YAY for a retrieval date friend!! I will be thinking of you on Friday for sure! I will be praying all goes smoothly and perfect. Did the doc tell you to have some ibuprofen on hand for afterwards? Ask about pain pill options for a just in case scenario. I remember my ovaries being sore after my retrieval. *HUG!!! Keep us posted.
