Retrieval

Today i had an appointment and it looks like I have around 7 follicles. The dr said everything is going as its supposed too, hoping thats a good thing. The nurse said that i should be having my ER on Sunday, possibly Monday. When I go in Friday, I will have a better idea of what day it will be. I am nervous! In looking back, the process went by so quick as soon as I started the shots. I am starting to feel the effects of the shots, especially when I added the Ganirelix. My hubby has been administering the shots and told me that that one was difficult, and hard to push in and out. The Menopur is by far the worst and it was upped on Monday evening, but I used some advice from the nurse as to let it sit and other advice from my fellow friends on here to go in slow. It still burns, but I am almost done with that one! Hoping my retrieval will be Sunday and then prepare for the transfer. Taking it one step at a time and trying to be super positive :)

Wow... Things are going great for you. 7 is a lucky number, so this is going to be full of luck for you. Do your best to have no plans for after your ER. You will needs some time to just rest and a little relaxation time to recover. the ER is not a comfortable process so go easy for at least the next 24hrs. Please keep us posted on how things go & good luck!

Thank you! Yea defiantly, I already scheduled to take off from work the following day, and they are cool with it which takes some stress off my back. Thanks for the advice, I have two puppies and I may ask for some help from friends to watch them, I literally think Ill wanna lay in bed all day!

7 is awesome!!! You are doing it right, just take it one day at a time and be positive!! If you put positive out then you will get positive back. And hopefully you will have the outcome I did!!!! Good luck!!!

Good luck with it all, i would definitely have someone take care of your dogs that day, I slept pretty much the whole day after the ER and when I wasn\'t sleeping, I was laying on the couch or in the recliner. You will be in quite a bit of pain after so plan to do nothing!

Defiantly, I am lucky and my in-laws live like three blocks away! They offered to take the dogs, or have me come over there with the dogs and relax. Thanks for the advice! It has really helped!
