Retreat
I think I'm gonna drive to Galtingburg TN... I live about an hour North of Boston MA. I have a real close friend who lives in Nashville TN.. I'm going to give her a call, and get info on how long of a drive, I think she told me once its about 23hr drive...I could visit her before or after the retreat.. I should do it before, then I might be more settled.. I don't wanna get to excited..I get to excited sometimes, and I embarrass my daughter..lol

I love Galtingburg.... Cades Cove is especially nice, for hiking or biking. Spent a week on the Indian Resvation in Cherokee, one year. It was great. Hope you do it and have a wonderful time.Hope you and your daughter have a good trip and enjoy each other...
Put it on your calendar right now and then you can cross off the days. I can\'t wait to meet you. I have about a 23 hour plane ride lol. I\'m whining because I hate to travel but the retreat has always been worth the inconveniences along the way. Love to you. Robin

We are driving also, coming from the Philly area... Jim & I plan on taking 2 days to make the drive, so will sightsee a bit on the way...
Oh, embarrasing our children is a mandatory part of parenthood !!!

Wow, it is going going to be a big retreat this year! That will be a long drive for you but will be nice and worth the driving if you can incorporate some time for other visiting with your friend. I hope to be able to meet you in Gatlinburg! Hugs B

I wish I could go but at this point is does not seem a possiblity. I am still hopefull to have a full time job by then but with the economy and my age it is looking pretty bleak out there. But I will be there in spirit! Hugs Kay
