This past Wednesday I received my results from my doctor and I do have have high-risk dysplasia.  We've scheduled a LEEP procedure for June 12th.  I'm a little nervous, although I know it doesn't do any good to focus on the future.  All I need to do is be grateful that my higher power is guiding me through this lesson I need to learn.  I don't think this is me paying back my Karma of messing up so many people or sleeping with too many people, but just that I am doing the right thing by making better choices; choosing to be in a stable, monogamous relationship. Interestingly enough, this past week, actually the same day I got my results, I made a date with an old friend from college I hadn't seen in 3 and a 1/2 years, and come to find that she has HPV and had high-risk dysplasia.  Although she had the conical procedure and not the LEEP, but it was still nice to learn that I'm definitely not alone, and that it's more common than I think. Onto brighter notes, things are doing well in my personal life.  My partner and I haven't been fighting as much lately, and we did put the writing exercise to work one night, and that same night instead of choosing to argue with me after I came clean about lying about something small, she chose to go for a drive first before seeing me and then she wrote down how she felt instead.  It was really nice for a change, as I felt we were finally able to see where each other were coming from and how we felt.  I am still open to the ideas that this could go either way: it won't last, or it will and maybe we weren't approaching situations appropiately.  I choose to think positively.
