Results
Had my scopes this morning. Everything looked pretty good. He said there was an irritated area but not active crohns. He also found a small hernia in my throat. I guess they're not that uncommon, he didn't seem too worried about it. It's hard to remember exactly what he said. I had been remembering stuff during my last couple colonoscopies so they really drugged me up this time. Usually I'm completely fine afterwards and today I slept all afternoon. He also wants me to start drinking Questrin twice a day to hopefully help this diarrhea. He seemed to think the nausea was caused by medications which is what we had been expecting. So I guess there's no change there :o(.

That is good there is no active Crohns. I have been taking Questran for 30 years. The best generic to get is by a company called PAR. The are the same company that makes the brand name Questran. It is the same product. I did not like the generic from a company called TEVA. The taste was very bad. Try to stick with the brand name or the PAR name. I get it in a can. The little packages are double the price. If I travel I usually put two scoops in a small pill bottle and just mix with 1/4 glass of water or orange juice. Hope it helps you.
Mine is Cholestyram, it\'s a generic in the can. I\'m not seeing the brand name PAR or TEVA? I wish I knew what my other doctor prescibed me, see I dropped it off at the pharmacy and they said it would take a week to get in. My GI doctor said to hold off on taking it though and do the Questram twice a day. It was a medicine that he tries before he goes to the liquid morphine, which I remember you mentioning. I\'ll let you know when I pick it up.
