Enlightened Beings are never tied to their past:
"Of all the enlightened beings I have met and have read about, the one similar quality they seem to possess is that they are not in any way tied to their past.
They are free because they don't rely on the way things used to be to define their lives today."

busy all day. one of rn's kittens is glassy-eyed. for some reason a LOT of animals (and humans) are sick right now. she says its eating, but she isn't sure. its 8 weeks. the pollen count is SUPER HIGH here, so it could be that as well. we live in the worst county in the country for allergies. if you drive south to brevard county, its fine there and south of there, if you go west its okay there as well, but it isn't okay here. for some reason, northeast florida has TONS of pollen.
sent a possible renter over to mry last night. have no idea if it will work out or not. he works in this office park and got in a fight with his girlfriend after paying alllll of her bills for her house, just over the bridge from here. then the girlfriend threw him out. his name is hector. he was living out of his van since last friday - so over a week. wtf? he'll sleep good tonight and she is being cool about it, cooler than i would be. when i was a landlord i did a criminal records check and had them fill out an application ...
rn gave me two fish tape capsules which is 34 mg of praziquantel (it gets rid of tape worm in all animals - the dose for cats is 23 mg, so its 2/3 of one capsule for each cat). (i just ordered some as well. Two capsules will do three cats.) and i gave her 25 amoxicillin forte capsules. She needs antibiotic for her sick mother cat.
When we were trading an oriental man went onto her neighbor's lawn across the street. Her neighbor isn't home, she works and rn babysits her son for her. So, me being me (my knee is healed now, so i am me again), walked over, yelling to the guy what are you doing there. he was very pale and saying he wanted the pumpkin that was in front of the woman's house to EAT it. he seemed dizzy and probably starving. he didn't speak good english and was verrrrry thin. so i yell to rn to get bread. you can tell when someone is truly hungry. she brings me half a loaf of cinnamon bread that i bring her all the time from the outlet, and i tell her to get a full loaf. so i sent him off with a loaf and a half of bread. wish i had a jug of water to give him or something, like a bag of fruit or veggie's. i normally carry a typed list of mission help for food etc., in my car because people are always in need of that stuff, and many people don't know it exists at all. it does. they don't advertise. we have the lists at church. but i didn't have one. no idea why.
he is oriental. so he bows his head to me. so i bowed my head to him. we did this twice. and rn is like watching like wtf? the namaste thing. i bow to you, you bow to me. i respect you, you respect me. i tell him if he needs food, to come back and rn will help him. i tell rn, if he comes back, give him something to eat and i'll replace it. i'll replace the bread, i'm the one that gave it to her anyway. i bring her like five loaves at a time when i go to the bread outlets etc.
today she calls and she needs all kinds of things. she generally doesn't say anything. i don't know why she is short on funds, but so many people are right now. she just stopped working as a nurse a year ago because of a back injury. now she is babysitting and broke, plus lifting the toddler, can't help her back. what a mess. she says its weird, but whenever she runs short, it will generally pop back up anyway. true. things always work out anyway. wondering if this is good deed month? lol. have to remember to bring rn more cinnamon bread, i bring her cinnamon bread all the time, but i haven't been to the store where i get it for a couple of months. technically mikeh should give her antibiotic, but it would cost more in gas to go up there to get it.
we finally ate the escargo and made a brandy butter garlic sauce to go with it at k's. i like escargo best with vodka on the rocks with lemon or with a vodka martini. it used to be one of my favorite appetizers like that. he has also started buying organic chicken - pre-made, which is so unusual for him, but its too spicy for me. had grilled burgers at the house up north with j. its too chilly to go on the boat, because its windy, even though the temperature is in the 70's. the boat is just sitting there because no one is using it anymore, as no one is home anymore. for js and b, i don't think they view here as home, they are at that stage of life.
stopped at the greek festival as well, but they only had gyros and lamb sandwiches, but no lamb dinners. the gyros were $7 about the same price as anywhere. the rest of my MOLAR TOOTH came out. i saved the tooth this time. there is no hole. it doesn't hurt. its just gone. feels so weird to lose a tooth. scary. its the same one the dentist glued together in 2005.
ended up picking up food at krystal's. i have coupons. for 80 cents i got TWO krystal burgers and chili cheese fries (the fries were free). they really have incredible coupons when they have them. you can only use two coupons at a time. someone saw my cousin's daughter at the greek thing and thought she was my cousin. i'm like that with people, and i have to remind myself, noooo that is the kid, we don't look like that anymore. lol. ln is 39 and blonde. she and her daughter look similar but the daughter has darker hair. i'm like, that was her DAUGHTER, not her.

once per year, go/travel to someplace that you have never been to before\"
george bernard shaw, always move onward
my molar tooth on the left broke when we were at the restaurant. i saved it this time. it doesn\'t hurt. there is no hole. so just waiting to go i guess. its the one the dentist mended/glued back together in 2005. i said it to k, he said it may never hurt. he\'s gone through all of this already. its easier when you have someone like that around. i said it to j and steven and i get stares. though i KNOW steven has had this kind of thing happen, even back when we were young (in the 80\'s), just not much of it, because he became vigilent with teeth after that. i was too for a long time. i used to get my teeth scaled every few months. now i just floss.
what\'s with him? ignore it and then it doesn\'t exist?
