Rest in Peace Darling Andrzej
It is hard to believe he’s gone. Finally in the last few weeks he seemed to be progressing, slowly improving. He went from parroting speech, to processing & answering questions. I am so glad I snuck in tea to him (he was quintessentially English in that way), a bit of chocolate, and even a kiss a few days before he starting having the respiratory problems, the ones that overtaxed his heart, and eventually got him on January 1st.
4 days later, and I am starting to look a bit more like myself again, not such frequent, uncontrollable bouts of crying, the puffy eyes less. A widow at 43. . .

May you find comfort in the good times you had together Anne. It is a difficult journey, but one that we all have different ways to cope with.
